May 15, 2011 WHISTLE FILMS worked with AIDS Walk for their 2011 New York walk! What an incredible event to be a part of. We braved the rain, the wind... more rain... and the result? Brushing shoulders with some of the city's best talent, meeting people who were walking for those they loved, lost and others who were still fighting, lifting high over central park in a motorized crane shooting thousands streaming past below... what a day! For a quick sample click HERE. Stay tuned for more to come.

May 11, 2011 A new Whistle Films collaboration, we're pleased and honored to be working side by side with Ping Chong & Company once again. Ping Chong & Company was recently awarded a grant from the Ms. Foundation for Women in order to support an educational documentary based on their recent theatrical production Secret Survivors. The show features real life stories of five survivors of childhood sexual abuse in three alternately heartbreaking, inspiring, and redemptive acts.

The documentary project, currently in development, will use the show as a platform to explore possibilities of healing, the epidemic at large, and outlets for activism. This pivotal project aims to break down barriers through opening new avenues for communication about this often taboo issue. Whistle Films will work with Ping Chong & Company to produce and direct the film; please stay tuned for our Kickstarter Campaign and sample clips of the show.
